On Saturday, Valentin Baudrey from Martinique demolished the existing record, completing the 22,7km from Ile Forchue to Kim Sha beach in 1:37:25. The conditions this year were ideal with a following wind of 15 to 20 knots and seas of around 1,5m. Juan Pablo Piscione and Emma Allegre were confirmed as the local Sint Maarten Ocean Paddling Champions for 2026.
